Legal & Disclosures

Ristretto Club is reader-supported. When you click a link on this site and buy a product, we may earn a commission from the retailer or brand — at no extra cost to you. This is how the site is funded; it is not optional or hidden.

What this does and doesn't change

• It never changes which machines appear on the site, how they're described, or what Match Score they receive.
• Match Scores and rankings are set from published specifications before any affiliate link is attached — see our About page for the full methodology.
• We link to multiple retailers and brand programs where possible, rather than defaulting to whichever pays the most.

AI-assisted content

Some pages on this site are compiled using AI-assisted research from manufacturer specifications and publicly available product data, with the key figures checked by hand before publishing. We are not a hands-on testing site, and we don't claim to be — see About for details.

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit Ristretto Club, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Analytics: we run a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool (Umami) that records anonymized traffic data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) without setting any cookie or identifying individual visitors. Because it sets no cookie, it runs for every visitor and isn't part of the cookie choice below.
• Affiliate tracking cookies: set by our affiliate networks (e.g. Amazon Associates) when you click an outbound product link, so the retailer can credit the referral. We don't control what these networks do with that data beyond attribution.
• Contact form submissions: name, email and message, used only to respond to your enquiry.

Cookie consent

On your first visit, you can allow or decline affiliate-tracking cookies. Declining doesn't block you from using the site — it just means outbound links won't carry a tracking cookie, so a purchase may not be credited to us. This choice has no effect on analytics, which never uses cookies in the first place.

Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (mainly: contact form submissions) by reaching out via our contact page.

Third parties

We don't sell personal data. Outbound affiliate links take you to third-party retailers with their own privacy policies, which we'd encourage you to check separately.

By using Ristretto Club, you agree to the following:

Information accuracy

Specifications, prices and availability are compiled from manufacturer and retailer sources and may change without notice. Always confirm current price and specs on the retailer's own product page before buying — we link directly to make that easy.

No professional advice

Content here is general buying guidance, not a substitute for the manufacturer's own manual, warranty terms, or safety instructions.

External links

We link to third-party retailers and brand sites. We don't control their content, availability or policies, and linking to them isn't an unconditional endorsement of everything on their site.

Intellectual property

Product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective manufacturers and are used here for identification purposes only.
